Remote | Six-month voluntary assignment | Applications via Reach Volunteering
The Advocacy and Capacity Development Association (ACDA) is seeking an experienced volunteer Quality Assurance Adviser to help strengthen our organisational quality systems, governance and readiness for external accreditation.
Working closely with ACDA’s Founder and Acting Chief Executive, Board members, staff and volunteers, the successful candidate will review our existing systems, identify areas for improvement and help establish a practical and sustainable quality-assurance framework.
The assignment will include supporting ACDA to:

- undertake a Quality Assurance Gap Analysis;

- develop a Quality and Accreditation Roadmap;

- strengthen policies, procedures and evidence management;
-
- improve internal quality-review arrangements;
-
- strengthen monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement;

- develop a Board Quality Assurance Dashboard; and
-
- prepare progressively for recognised quality standards and accreditation.
We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in quality assurance, accreditation, internal or external audit, compliance, governance, risk management, organisational development or service improvement.
Experience within charities, voluntary organisations, public services, advice services, housing, welfare, youth services or other regulated environments would be particularly welcome.
